United Voices For United States Of Africa (UVFUSA)

It Is Time To Create The United States Of Africa!

It is now obvious to all that the Libyan mission characterized as some “humanitarian mission” is a hoax and a BIG LIE. It is part and continuation of the African dismemberment and butchering operation held in Berlin in 1844, which set limits and put Africans in a box. And anyone who tries to break from the box or tries to go beyond the limits set is repelled with overwhelming military/economic force at the disposal of the imperial forces. The African dismemberment will not end until Africa unites.

The Berlin operation had the following goals.

a) To avoid conflict among Europeans in the Africa butchering operation

b) Set up rules for dismembering Africa

c) Make decisions for Africa without involving Africans

To reverse these goals and the earlier assault on the collective humanity of Africans enlightened Africans decided to create a UNITED STATES OF AFRICA to defend Africa and Africans from the continual abuse of our rights by external forces. Therefore the United of States Africa project is not the preserve of any individual.

The United State of Africa project is often characterized by the imperial powers as a “pet project” of certain individuals. This gives them the opportunity to demonize and discredit these individuals in order to discredit the project. They did it to Nkrumah and doing it to Gaddafi. Apart from these two, there are many other Africans from all walks of life – students, ordinary people, workers, artists, intellectuals, celebrities etc. clamoring for the ultimate reality designed by our forefathers – UNITED STATES OF AFRICA. What the UVFUSA seeks to do, is to change this perception and make the United States of Africa a truly African project by the people and for the people. ‘If we want to survive, we must unite’. Dr Hassy H. B. Kitine, a Tanzanian pan-Africanist extraordinaire.

In his famous book, Africa Must Unite, Kwame Nkrumah stated emphatically that; “No single part of Africa can be safe or free to develop fully and independently, while any part remains unliberated or while Africa’s vast economic resources continue to be exploited by imperialist and neo colonialist interests“.

Africa must wise up. There is a subtle neo-slavery, neo- military colonization and neo-scramble for African resources under the guise of protecting civilians. The greatest obstacle facing the African is self-doubt. This is due to the many years of psychological damage done to the African self-esteem by those who arrogated to themselves the right to tell us who we are. Africans must redefine themselves and believe in themselves. If we don’t stick together, we are toast. Unfortunately, South Africa, Nigeria, Gabon betrayed the African cause by giving NATO the license to decimate and destroy a sister African country. I believe it is only through a UNITED AFRICA, would we, as a people overcome the numerous challenges. No one ethnic group or one tiny nation created by the Berlin clique can stand it alone. It is impossible. A United Africa is the best defense of our resources which Europeans have coveted over the many centuries. Today it is Libya, tomorrow it may be Nigeria and the next it may be Gabon and on and on. No single African country is immuned from NATO/AFRICOM aggression.

On Libya, forget the superficial reason of protecting civilians, the deepest reasons are hidden from the eyes of the gullible world by the biased western media. In short these so-called powers always have ulterior motives in their dealing with Africans.

There are many reasons for this shameful attack on a sister African country and by extension an attack on Africa. Among them are;

**The fear that Gadhafi’s creation of the African Investment Bank in Sirte (Libya) and the African Monetary Fund to be based in Cameroon will supplant the IMF and undermine Western economic hegemony in Africa.

**Last year in a meeting with African leaders in Ndjamena- Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi put $90bn at the disposal of Africa during summit talks on creating a “United States of Africa.

**In December, Gadaffi pushed again for a sole African government and the creation of a single African army, to consist of a ‘million soldiers’.

*“Africa must unite, so that we do not again become serfs or slaves. It is necessary to establish a unity government for the African continent and that Africa has one army, which could consist of a million soldiers. Even the South African army is worthless to NATO or the United States of America. Even Libya is not even able to protect its territorial waters alone” He stated earlier this year, Gaddafi held numerous meetings with Africans from all sections pushing hard for the United Africa project.

So the case against Gaddafi is his vigorous campaign for the dismantling of the imperialist structures in Africa and the creation of a continental government, independent African currency to be named “AFRO” backed by Africa’s vast gold resources, and the creation of an African army, able to defend Africa. It is these reasons which have triggered the blitzkrieg against Libya and Gadhafi and the massive destruction of Libyan infrastructure. A cause we are determined to pursue regardless of NATO bombs. The imperialists want to see a poverty-stricken, weak, divided and beggarly Africa. We must resist and assert our dignity and humanity. The way forward is a UNITED AFRICA.

Once the marauders and imperialist gangsters have started with Libya, there is no looking back. History is our guide. Europeans have targeted Africa for this century as the reservoir for the growth of their economies. Judging from the nature of the combined NATO and AFRICOM attacks on Libya with the flimsy excuse of protecting civilians, Africa stands no chance of survival in the coming decade. European powers had used those various excuses and tactics in the past in the subjugation and dismantling of Africa and the excuse being used against Libya is nothing new. It has followed a time tested pattern. What we are seeing is European/American and imperialist SOLIDARITY against a perceived “weak race”.

A stage Africans have not reached in our organic evolution. The fact that I disagree with my brother or family member doesn’t mean I should support a stranger attacking my brother. Any attack against my brother is an attack against me. I will do everything to defend my brother when attacked by an outsider. So it was the betrayal of Africa at the highest level for South Africa, Nigeria and Gabon to give the imperialists the blank cheque to attack Libya.

Germany, morally disagrees with the military actions of the West against Libya, but in the name of IMPERIALIST SOLIDARITY, provides tacit support through NATO and the shameless recognition of the Libyan rebels. Something Africans since the days of slavery are yet to learn. This is why the call for a UNITED Africa for a brotherly solidarity is more urgent today.

If we want to survive in this dog eat dog world, we need to stick together. Africa has been dismembered enough and the present disintegrated nature of Africa will not survive another decade. Africa is surely going to be destroyed unless it succeeds in growing together into a Single Family. Anytime I see those ghastly pictures about our rich and blessed continent on the TV, my heart gets sick.

The problem goes to the despair that still exists on the continent due to seen and unseen, man-made and unknown factors. It is all due to the inability of Africans to take full advantage of the vast God given human and natural resources on the continent, and to create a glorious AFRICAN DREAM, shared by all Africans. Too many Africans are trapped in a cycle where lack of basic human needs, and lack of faith combined to create sad human conditions that cannot be allowed to continue. We must first believe in ourselves and redefine ourselves and know that we are capable and endowed with divine abilities capable of transforming our backyard. Let us remember that AFRICA BEGUN MANKIND’S FIRST GREAT ACHIEVEMENTS.

We must become familiar with each other and accept each other’s peculiar way of doing things. We must knit together physically, mentally, economically, politically, spiritually and socially by advancing new ways of looking and doing things.

Let us find strength in our diversities. It is possible for a Malinke in West Africa to get on well with an Amhara in the East; a Berber tribesman in the North can equally work together with a Zulu in the South. Tribalism and ethnicity should not be an excuse for us not excelling in our chosen fields.

The extraordinary skill and talent of the Fulani, Mossi, Wolof and Ewe when developed; combined with that of an Ashanti, Bemba, Tswana and Merina can create a great human habitat never seen in the history of mankind. Let the Hutu and the Tutsi forget the past and move on with united force.

It is good for a Chokwe, Kikuyu and an Ndebele to shake hands and recognize that they belong to a Single African Family. A Masai and his fellow Swahili speaking tribes along the coast of the East as well as the Hazda, Chaga, Sukuma can team up and build a multi-fishing-industry that will be the envy of the world. The combined brains and talents of a Beduin in the North, a Somali in the East, a Sotho in the South, a Mbundu friend in the Central and an Akan in the West can create a “continental internet“ where useful and productive ideas are exchanged to turn Africa into an economic showpiece.

Equally important are the mental resources of the Igbo, Yuroba, Grushie, Dagomba, Edo, Kru, Fanti, Azande, Bambara, Ganda, Sukuma, Dyola, Senegambia, Tonga, Merina and the countless tribes.

The diversities are a reflection of the beautiful nature of Africans. These should be sources for strength and not for conflicts. A Libyan is not different from a Burkinabe. A South African is equally capable as a Nigerian. A combination of wits between a Ghanaian and a Kenyan can cause a technological and scientific explosion for the relief and advancement of our people. Let us not hide behind blind nationalism and tribalism as an excuse for not doing our best. And above all, let us remember that the worst poverty is not economic but mental. Let us enrich our minds with useful ideas and thoughts.

No single tribal group is above or beneath the other; it is an equal in equal. This is strength. This is togetherness. This is power in diversity. This is a family. Together we can unveil the massive wealth in our midst and splash the face of our earth with wealth and glory and power. From Cape to Cairo, Dakar to Mogadishu, let us find strength in our diversities and build a SINGLE AFRICAN FAMILY. Then shall we attain the two most dynamic ideals of mankind – PROSPERITY IN A SECURED ENVIRONMENT.

At the time of writing NATO/AFRICOM has carried out over 4000 airstrikes on Libya. Imagine other African countries suffering the same fate, Africa will be wiped off the face of the earth in no time. Let us join Professor Molefi Kete Asante, initiator of Afrocentricity International and a renowned Pan-Africanist in saying, “If Africa is divided between Northern and Southern states, or if Africa keeps existing as 54 independent states, the Western nations and the North American nations of Canada and United States will eat each part of Africa alive. They will not be able to swallow a continent that is united, firm in its convictions and dedicated to the liberty of its territory“.

We have no option than to Unite and fend off the traditional destroyers of Africa.Let us join the dead and the living and add our voices to the call for a UNITED STATES OF AFRICA, able and strong and resolute to defend the dignity and humanity of Africa and Africans everywhere.

Let us join Henry Sylvester-Williams, Bob Marley, Molefi Kete Asante, Alpha Blondy, Haile Selassie, Ziggy Marley, Julius Nyerere, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Kwame Nkrumah, Tajudeen Abdulraheem, Ahmed Sékou Touré, Ahmed Ben Bella, Cheikh Anta Diop, Muammar Gaddafi, Samia Nkrumah, George Padmore, Didier Drogba, Thomas Sankara, Aliaune Thiam (Rapper Akon), W.E.B. DuBois, Yeharerwerk Gashaw, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Marcus Garvey, Jepther McClymont (Luciano), Modibo Keita, Edward Wilmot Blyden, Patrice Lumumba, Majekodunmi Fasheke, Jomo Kenyatta and many more in calling for a UNITED STATES OF AFRICA. Africa’s legendary inaction is summed up beautifully by Pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984 in his famous poem. “First they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak out for I wasn’t a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn’t speak out for I wasn’t a trade unionist. Then they came for the communists, and I didn’t speak out for I wasn’t a communist. Then they came for me but there was no one left to speak out for me.” Get off the traditional African political apathy table and get involve. Today Gaddafi, the next Goodluck Jonathan and the next Jacob Zuma
“Today we are one. If in the past the Sahara divided us, now it unites us. And an injury to one is an injury to all of us. From this conference must go out a new message. Hands off Africa! Africa must be Free!” Kwame Nkrumah. You are welcome to add your voice to the millions of Africans calling for a UNITED AFRICA.

LET’S JUST DO IT.

LET THE TRUTH BE TOLD.

AFRICA MUST UNITE.

AFRICA MUST WISE UP.

HANDS OFF AFRICA.

HANDS OFF LIBYA.

MAY AFRICA LIVE AND NOT DIE!!!!
