Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi Interview With RT

US looks on Libya as McDonald’s – Gaddafi’s son
RT

USA looks upon Libya as fast food expecting a fast war and a quick victory, Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, the son of the Libyan leader wanted by the ICC, told RT. But the West will never get what they want, he added.

“Many countries, Iran and North Korea are among them, told us it was our mistake to give up, to have stopped developing long-range missiles and to become friendly with the West. Our example means one should never trust the West and should always be on alert – for them it is fine to change their mind overnight and start bombing Libya,” said Saif al-Islam Gaddafi.

“One of our biggest mistakes was that we delayed buying new weapons, especially from Russia, and delayed building a strong army. We thought Europeans were our friends; our mistake was to be tolerant with our enemies”.

Gaddafi’s son was charged by the International Criminal Court on June 27 for a “state policy aimed at deterring by any means, including lethal force, the demonstrations of civilians against the Gaddafi regime” alongside his father Muammar Gaddafi and his military intelligence chief General Abdullah al-Sanoussi. However the Libyan leader’s son sees the charge differently.

“They do not accuse me of policy, they accuse me of killing people, and everybody knows it. For me to be responsible for killing people was a joke. This would have happened anywhere in the world if people in the street moved towards a military site trying to steal ammunition or arms. Of course the military would prevent them!” stated Saif al-Islam Gaddafi.

The son of the Libyan leader denied either he or his father had ordered the killing of protesters.

“No, nobody ordered to kill them, the guards just fired, that’s it. And they do not need permission to do that.”

“It’s a fake court. Under the table they are trying to negotiate with us a deal. They say if you accept this deal, we will take care of the court. What does that mean? It means this court is controlled by those countries which are attacking us every day! It is just to put psychological and political pressure on us. That’s it. Of course, it won’t work. The court is a joke here in Libya,” concluded the son of the Libyan leader.

Saif al-Islam Gaddafi said the West has only one target – Libya. “The country is a like a piece of cake for them – it is rich, it has gas, oil and money, so they must kill my father to get the cake. What they don’t understand is that the fighting will not stop if my father goes. Libyans will continue fighting until one day the country will be back to the Libyans,”concluded Saif al-Islam Gaddafi.

“We told them ‘You want elections? OK – let’s do elections. We will bring observers from Russia, from America, from the African Union, from the European Union, from the United Nations to supervise the elections. And if we win – you should accept the results, if we lose – congratulations.’ They answered ‘no.’,” Saif al-Islam Gaddafi went on. “Our goal is to march to Tripoli. We have to march to Tripoli and occupy Tripoli. By force. So, you want to fight? OK, we will fight. And you will lose. And soon, because you have no chance. You have 40 ships in front of our coast, you have hundreds of airplanes, you have 17 satellites from America and France, you have everything, but you are losing every day. Why? Because the people are not with you.”

“The Libyans are united not just around my father as a leader but they are united around other moral values. They are fighting for their country, for their people. They know that NATO is here and is bombing not because they want to help us, or because it is so nice to us or because it is so generous towards the Libyan people, but because they have their own interest. And the rebels are with NATO not because they are pro-democracy or fighting for freedom. It has nothing to do with this. They have their own interests. They want to share the cake – they want to share this country,” said Saif al-Islam Gaddafi.

The son of the Libyan leader acknowledged that the West won the media war at the outset because it planned to say Gaddafi was in Venezuela, the rebels were occupying Tripoli and the regime was gone.

“They seeded big chaos in the whole country. We are still now suffering from that chaos. But now the Libyans are winning. The Security Council issued its resolution against Libya because of fake media reports saying that the Libyan air force is bombing civilian districts in Tripoli and killing – but go there and show me any evidence of such killings. We told everyone – please, send a fact-finding mission to Libya to find out what’s happened. They said no. We are going to bomb you.”

“Nobody will give up and raise a white flag. And the Libyans will not allow them to do that. And the fight will continue,” added Saif al-Islam Gaddafi.

At the end of the interview, Saif al-Islam Gaddafi said it was time for Russia to step in to play a positive role in the escalating conflict and show that it is a superpower.

“Libya is a great opportunity for Russia to become a superpower. It’s similar to what happened in Egypt when the Soviet Union managed to stop the French and the British. It’s exactly what is happening now in Libya. And from then on the Soviet Union became a super power, because at that time it said: you stop aggression against Egypt, or we are going to bomb London and Paris. It’s the same again.”

Sayf-al-Islam, stop talking to the media. You have too much to learn yet and you are on the wrong wavelength always. We watch with shock your interviews with Russian and French TV.

We have tried not to bring this out into the open and we will still try to keep things quiet regarding all of the reasons why you should not be talking to foreign media and should face a revolutionary court.

However, if you persist, we are going to attack you in public and with a vengeance. We will expose the reasons why we are telling you that you do more damage than good when you open your mouth.

It is not a question of your freedom. It is the manner in which you talk, what you say, how you say it, and what you convey, that is damaging to Libya, to yourself, and to the good name of your father.

Shut your big mouth until you have consulted with us and others who have the interests of justice at heart, because your word, your manner, and your image, conveys loud and clear the very wrong message.

It is embarrassing at best, and treasonous at worst.

It conveys who you are, and that you have a very long way to go. There are perhaps a million other Libyans more entitled to speak to foreign media than you, because they will have a much better message.

It is brother doctor Moussa Ibrahim who should be speaking to foreign media, not you. He exemplifies the best of the new Libyan generation of intellect, knowledge, sincerity and professionalism.

All that you are conveying is a spoilt, hurt child, that is upset because his toys were taken away, by those false heroes loved and still loved, and you convey that you are begging to have them given back to you.

The western elite is not angry with you Sayf they love you and now love you even more. And all you did in recent years you have not yet learned your lesson and you still have not understood the western global elite that you used to mix with.

Others in Libya have been hanged, in open squares, in front of the masses, for asking for much less than you are asking for, even now ready to agree too. If they were hanged rightfully as the revolutionary committees believe, then why are you not hanged now?

The only reason you have not been hanged many years ago already is because of respect for your father.

Libya already had a democracy before you came along and mixed it up with compromises. Libya already has a constitution, the Holy Qur’an and the Sebha Declaration makes that clear.

Libya already has a Great Green Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms that you have clearly forgotten.

You cannot say that I will give you what you want, including elections, democracy and a new constitution, who are you to give those things, or agree to them, without being hung as a counter revolutionary?

In short, hide your long beard, stop showing yourself to be shell shocked, traumatised and bewildered, and refuse to speak to any media until you have been helped to undo your western indoctrination and until you have shown you are not above other Libyans.

You have clearly not understood the mistakes you have done, and you are giving great satisfaction to the enemies of all Libyans and all Africans. We had forgiven you as we saw signs you were with Muammar. But now we are very angry with you and opposed to you.

The best thing you can do now, is to shut up, lock yourself into a room somewhere and study The Green Book and the Holy Qur’an. Find peace with yourself first and understand what is the Revolution.

Until then, shut the hell up or the world wide movement of revolutionary committees will call upon the Libyan section, to silence you as your voice is one of reaction even three months after you should have woken up.

Do not let us to open again the Green File this time with your name on the front cover.

Our advice to the Libyan masses would be to stop giving deferential treatment to Sayf-Al-Islam Al-Qaddafi and liberate whatever possessions he has, and put those into the service of the revolution.

Detain him, in the same manner, or even more restrictively, than the methods he had used to detain and restrict the Brother Leader of the Revolution in recent years. Place him under house arrest, and prevent him from having any access to media nor any communications without the authority of a People’s Committee for Security.

There is no revolutionary outside the revolutionary committees. There is no democracy without people’s conferences and committees everywhere. There is no revolution without revolutionary ideology. The Holy Qur’an is the Law of Society in the Libyan Jamahiriya. The Green Book is the Guide to the Era of the Masses. Africa for the Africans.

Submitted by Maria on 2011/07/11 In reply to Zahara.

This rant reminds me of psyops I encountered in human rights work in past where a party is attempting to sound as if they side with the ones I would be advocating for, while inserting well placed comments that undermined any good my work could do. If as the Mathaba author states, they imprison or hang people openly for small offenses in Libya, (which they certainly do not!) how is this supposed to inspire an already apathetic peace movement to resist this war? It sounds as if there are radical elements that Gaddafi himself warned about at work here. Saif can speak to whomever he pleases. He certainly has not said anything deserving of punishment or censure, nor would I expect such violence from anyone in Libya with the exception of the rebels. When anyone becomes fanatical and claims to be the one and only legitimate source for anything, warning bells ring and this is not the first serious issue regarding Mathaba that has been brought to my attention.

I cannot recall Mathaba ever posting for the Dignity fact-finding mission or British (Global) Civilians for Peace. Curious.

“Seif al Islam al Qaddafi has not lived up to either of his names, and should be placed under house arrest”

    Green March Opinion

Saif is a huge problem. He claims to have had talks with Sarkozi. It looks like he has screwed things up again. He should shut up and submit to a tribunal to investigate his role and relationship with the global banking elite and his subversion of people’s power in Libya.

If anyone should talk to the French, it should be a Libyan People’s Committee comprised of youth, none of them older than 30 years of age, and armed with foreign advisers, essentially including Dr Webster Tarpley and consultation with Louis Farrakhan, who knows the whites best of all.

The French were talking about negotiations. But then Saif opened his mouth and let it out that Sarkozi told him that it was OK that for Muammar Qaddafi to stay in Libya. Well, what that did was cause the French government to DENY that they were willing to accept Muammar to stay in Libya!

If Saif had kept his mouth shut, then maybe the stuff behind the scenes would come to the fore in a good way. But Saif, by opening his big mouth, caused the French to have to save face.

Here is just one of the articles.
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/libya/8632560/French-say-Col-Muammar-Gaddafi-prepared-to-leave.html

That is why Saif should be placed under house arrest, without communications, until he has been briefed by the world wide mathabas, since he has consistently ignored all good advice and warnings of what would transpire.

Muammar Qaddafi, advised by Musa Kusa, asked us in 1990′s whether to trust the British and form a trusting relationship with British and American intelligence, and we answered a firm no giving the reasons. Louis Farrakhan also warned Qaddafi about the course he is taking and was unable to get through.

At the same time Muammar Qaddafi held a meeting with a Zionist agent from Norway who was advocating the United Nations Organisation as a solution to all the problems, at the Green Alternative Conference in 1993. All delegates were held up at port Tripoli because the agent had a Zionist visa in his passport.

One phone call to Musa Kusa and the agent was allowed to pass, and then proceeded to sabotage the conference work shops, and was the only person Muammar requested a private meeting with, went into small room with him for a few minutes, and the spy emerged beaming from ear to ear well financed for his atrocious plans.

Why is it that Qaddafi is always trusting the wrong people? Is that some Karma problem? Or is it due to the reactionaries that always surround him, say the things he wants to hear, but then say a different thing to others. Libyan opportunists who wish to get personal advantages and who never pass on communications because they want to take the credit and get some personal benefit.

Brother Leader is not just the leader of the Libyans any more and never should have been. He was the leader of the world wide revolutionary committees movement.

Little people in this world need a boost; need a hero. And Qaddafi is that hero. He can’t bend to the French. That’s what they want. They want to show that they have the power. It’s all ego now. Muammar Qaddafi says all the right things in his speeches, then Seif Islam says all the wrong things in his.

If Qaddafi left Libya, which we happen to know that he will not, then that would send a message to the world that he is a “dictator”. Then they would start inventing stories about billions of dollars that he “stole,” even though they openly stole the money from Libya.

There is another problem. Libyans do not know this yet, but the war is far from over. Due to screw ups that are now under way, Libya will lose much more lives than is necessary, even though NATO will not win in the end other than by dropping nuclear bombs in a grab for African resources which will elude them.

The reason Libya will lose much life and opportunity, is because of Seif al Islam and the middle aged generation of “reactionary revolutionaries” which do not wish to cede power and authority to the youth as they must now do, as well as to hear the advice of the world wide revolutionary committees movements and all those who have stood by Libya and helped her in here time of need, as well as those who offered sound sincere advice and were always proven right, and who can see into the future.

Those include Minister Louis Farrakhan, Dr Webster Tarpley, and the leader of the International Green March.

The other thing Libyans are starting to lose in these very days, is much of the support that has been built up in recent months, by those that are now becoming affected by the enemy propaganda. Not everyone has the strength to ignore its negativity and to see the future as it should be. They are even starting to question whether there is any truth that Qaddafi is planning to leave, even though we know this will not happen.

If Qaddafi cannot lead the world revolution, which he abandoned more than 10 years ago, then that is OK, not everyone has the strength, even though he is the most qualified to do that. A great many will be disappointed, however, he has left behind all the tools and words that are required for others to take up the leadership. He is neglecting the many millions who are supporting him around the world, perhaps again because he does not receive their messages, and is also not addressing them.
